ANU Press & Social Media Statement – Afar People & TPLF Aggression
Issued by: Agaezi National Union (ANU) – Global Supreme Leadership
Date: 10.11.2025
The Agaezi National Union (ANU) stands in solidarity with the Afar people against the ongoing incursions and attacks by the TPLF in the Afar Region of Geezawit Ethiopia.
The TPLF’s & Sheabia joint actions — including cross-border aggression, attacks on civilians, and destruction of property — are a threat not only to Afar communities but to peace, unity, and stability in Geezawit Ethiopia.
The Afar people have taken to the streets in peaceful protest to defend their land, culture, and livelihoods. Their voices must be heard, and their rights respected.
ANU calls for urgent action:
TPLF & Sheabia must withdraw immediately and respect Afar territorial of Tigray & Afar Geezawit Ethiopia.
Federal and regional authorities must protect Tigray & Afar civilians and ensure humanitarian access.
The international community must monitor human rights violations, provide humanitarian support, and hold perpetrators accountable.
The ANU affirms: the Afar people will not be silenced. Justice, peace, and unity demand protection of every Geezawit Ethiopian community.
Share this message globally to amplify the voices of the Afar people and demand accountability against TPLF Sheabia joint aggressions.
